About this care
BSO de Berkenboom is located at Berkenlaan 29-31 in Hoogland, on the premises of primary school De Berkenschool. We are an initiative of De Berkenschool and childcare organization Dribbel, offering small-scale after-school care for up to 42 children.
Our BSO is specifically designed for children aged 4 to 12 attending primary school. We operate with two age groups: one for children aged 4 to 6 and another for children aged 7 to 12. This structure allows us to provide activities that perfectly match your child's developmental stage.
The care takes place within the school building of De Berkenschool, ensuring a smooth transition from school to after-school care. BSO de Berkenboom in Hoogland (temporarily located in Amersfoort) was inspected unannounced on 11 November 2025. The location provides after-school care (BSO) for up to 42 children aged 4 to 12 years. The inspection report shows that the location meets all examined legal requirements regarding pedagogical climate and staff & groups. A positive and safe atmosphere was observed, in which children feel emotionally secure and staff interact with children in an active and responsive manner. No violations or areas for improvement were identified. The municipality of Amersfoort is advised not to take enforcement action.
