About this care
BSO Augustinusschool is a small-scale after-school care facility located on the premises of Augustinusschool at Kloosterlaan 11 in the Kerkelanden district of Hilversum. We provide care for up to 22 children aged 4 to 12 who have entered primary school. The BSO is part of Stichting Alberdingk Thijm Scholen, a Catholic education organisation committed to creating a warm and safe learning and play environment. Because we are situated directly on the school playground, children can join us safely and quickly after school. Our qualified pedagogical staff are ready to give the children a pleasant afternoon with rest, play and challenges, tailored to what the children need that day. Summary
GGD Gooi & Vechtstreek conducted an unannounced annual inspection on 14 April 2026 at BSO Augustinusschool in Hilversum. The after-school care (BSO) accommodates 22 children aged 4 to 12 years in one group, open on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. The location complies with legislation and regulations regarding pedagogical climate, safety and health, and parental rights. One violation was identified: a new staff member had not been registered and linked in the childcare persons register in time before starting work. The holder made use of the recovery offer; the linkage was subsequently completed on 18 May 2026 and an action plan was drawn up to prevent recurrence. The advice to the municipality is: no enforcement action.
