About this care
BSO Bredeplein at Europalaan 98A in Renkum is a small-scale after-school care facility where school-going children aged 4 to 12 can go after school. We are part of V.O.F. Bredeplein, a childcare organization that has been active in Renkum and the surrounding area since 2010. Our location accommodates a maximum of 22 children and is open 52 weeks a year, Monday through Friday after school until 6:00 PM.
At BSO Bredeplein, the well-being and development of every child is central. Our well-trained pedagogical staff ensure that children feel safe, familiar and stimulated. We offer a warm and homely environment in which children can be themselves and relax after a day at school. Our approach is based on core values that form the basis of our daily activities.
Our BSO is officially registered in the National Childcare Register (LRK) under number 167631962 and is under the supervision of the GGD Safety and Health Region Gelderland-Midden. The care includes food, snacks and care products. For parents who want to apply for childcare allowance, our LRK number is available.

Summary
BSO Bredeplein at Europalaan 98A in Renkum provides after-school care (BSO) for up to 22 children aged 4 to 13 years in one base group. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) inspection of 9 October 2025 concludes that the location meets all statutory quality requirements. The pedagogical climate is assessed positively: children experience emotional safety, there is plenty of challenging play and craft materials, and staff stimulate social skills and norms. All employees are properly registered and hold a Certificate of Conduct (Verklaring Omtrent het Gedrag/VOG). The new pedagogical coach is working according to plan with peer supervision, coaching-on-the-job, and video interaction. The indoor (100 m²) and outdoor spaces (220 m²) are more than sufficient and arranged in an age-appropriate manner. Parents are well informed via website, newsletters, and parent portal; the parent committee is satisfied with communication and quality. There is a complaints procedure and affiliation with the Disputes Committee for Childcare (Geschillencommissie Kinderopvang). No violations or areas for improvement identified. Advice to municipality of Renkum: no enforcement needed.
