About this care
BSO Box is located at Sportpark Molenwijk in Boxtel, right in the middle of a green area and next to the hockey fields of MHC MEP. We provide after-school care for up to 48 children aged 4 to 12 years. Our location is open on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 14:00 to 18:30; Wednesday and Friday we are closed.
We pick the children up from Jenaplanschool Molenwijk and from other primary schools in the immediate vicinity. The centre is within walking or cycling distance, so children can travel safely with our pedagogical staff. The spacious outdoor area with hockey pitches, playground equipment and nature spots is the heart of our activities. Children can run, play football, hockey, build dens and romp around.
Sport and exercise are central to BSO Box. In collaboration with MHC MEP, we organise weekly sporty clinics and games in which fun, cooperation and motor development are paramount. We also provide quiet corners for games, crafts and homework guidance. Our pedagogical staff create a safe, homely atmosphere in which every child can be themselves.
Thanks to the small-scale set-up, we know every child and can respond to individual needs. We work according to Humankind's pedagogical vision, in which room for personal initiative, respect for each other and discovering talents are central. Parents are actively involved through personal conversations and parent evenings.

Summary
The Municipal Health Service (GGD) inspection report of 1 July 2026 concerns a further investigation at after-school care (BSO) Box in Boxtel, conducted by GGD Hart voor Brabant on behalf of the municipality. The location, part of Humankind, provides after-school care (buitenschoolse opvang/BSO) for up to 48 children (ages 4-13) at the hockey club MEP sports grounds. This investigation followed a warning letter from the municipality after the annual inspection of 2 March 2026, in which violations had been identified regarding staff and groups. In the further investigation, the provider now meets all assessed quality requirements: the Certificates of Good Conduct (VOG) and Childcare Personnel Register (PRK) registrations are now in order, including for the chairman of the hockey club who is structurally present. The deployment of staff members in training also now meets the requirements; a model supervision plan with signature sections has been drawn up. The earlier violations from March 2026 concerned missing VOG and PRK registration for the chairman, and an unsigned supervision plan for a staff member in training. These have been resolved. The GGD advises the municipality not to apply enforcement.
