About this care
BSO de Bosplaats at Joubertlaan 1 in Zeist is an independent after-school care facility inspired by anthroposophical pedagogy. We provide care for primary school children, working with two age groups: the junior group for children aged 4 to 8 years and the senior group for children up to 13 years.
Our location on Joubertlaan accommodates up to 60 children and is situated in a green, forested environment that perfectly complements our natural play setting. We are open Monday through Friday from 12:50 PM to 6:30 PM during school weeks and from 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM during holidays and study days.
As an anthroposophical after-school care facility, we embrace a pedagogical approach that aligns with the Waldorf school philosophy and provides space for each child's individuality. Summary
BSO Bosplaats in Zeist was inspected unannounced on 9 October 2025. The location meets all legal requirements examined in the domains of 'pedagogical climate' and 'staff and groups'. The pedagogical policy is complete and is correctly implemented: children are cared for in fixed core groups, each group has sufficient supervisors, and each child has a mentor who tracks development and wellbeing. All staff are correctly registered in the Childcare Personnel Register (Personenregister Kinderopvang) and the staff-to-child ratio was in order at the time of the visit.
