About this care
Welcome to Boobalooh, our after-school care facility located at Beethovenstraat 7 in Roermond. Since November 1, 2023, we have been officially registered in the National Childcare Register under number 781040814 and provide care for up to 30 children aged 4 to 12 years.
Our location is centrally situated in Roermond and easily accessible. We provide care for primary school-aged children, focusing on creating a safe and stimulating environment after school hours. As a BSO (Buitenschoolse Opvang), we specialize in providing care outside school hours, where children can relax, play, and discover new things.

Summary
BSO Boobalooh in Roermond sought to increase its number of childcare places from 22 to 30. Following a written application, concrete descriptions were initially lacking in the pedagogical policy regarding the working method of base groups, the use of group spaces, and the merging of groups. It was also unclear how spaces are specifically allocated between after-school care (BSO) and toddler care (peuteropvang). The Municipal Health Service (GGD) gave the operator the opportunity to rectify this. After submission of an adjusted policy plan and a clear schedule layout, it was established that sufficient indoor (minimum 105 m²) and outdoor play space (210 m²) is available for 30 children. The proposed effective date of 1 June 2025 was not feasible due to the 8-week processing period, but the modification request can be implemented as soon as the municipality confirms in writing.
