BLOS BSO Achterweg is part of Kindercampus Joseph and is located in a quiet, central spot in Lisse. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 13. After school, children have all the space they need to relax, play and explore. We offer a varied programme that includes sports and games, crafts and creative challenges. Children decide for themselves what they want to do; they can join an organised activity or simply enjoy free play in our spacious indoor and outdoor areas. Our qualified pedagogical staff are on hand to guide the children, lend a listening ear and help make every afternoon enjoyable. We work closely with primary school De Joseph, ensuring a smooth transition from school to after-school care. In fine weather we make full use of our secure outdoor space, where children can run around, play tag or build dens together. Indoors there is a cosy area with different corners: a chill-out zone for relaxing with a book or game, a construction corner and a creative corner with plenty of materials for drawing, crafting and other creative projects. We believe it is important that every child feels welcome and seen. Respect, cooperation and fun are therefore central to our approach. Summary
The annual inspection of 7 May 2026 of after-school care (BSO) Club Basker IKC - Kindercampus Joseph in Lisse presents a predominantly positive picture. The location, part of Basker kinderopvang B.V., accommodates a maximum of 77 children aged 4 to 13 years in four base groups. The inspection assessed the pedagogical climate, staff and groups, safety and health, and parental rights. On three of the four topics, the quality requirements are fully met. The pedagogical climate is good: children are emotionally safe, there is a challenging range of activities, and staff adequately guide children in their social development. Staff and groups also comply: all staff are correctly registered in the persons register, hold valid qualifications, and the staff-to-child ratio is in order. The safety and health policy is carried out as prescribed. The only bottleneck concerns the absence of a parent committee, despite the location having more than 50 childcare places. The provider does engage parents through newsletters and personal contact, but fails to meet the legal obligation. This same problem was already identified during the previous annual inspection in January 2025. No recovery offer was made due to the repetition. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) advises enforcement.
