About this care
Blink – BSO – Noorderplassen is a small-scale after-school care facility located at Kraaiennest 4 in Almere. We provide care for children aged 4 to 13 in a homely environment where the child is central. Our location works closely with De Windwijzer Primary School, which is located at the same address. Since September 2019, we have been providing before-school care (VSO), during-school care (TSO), and after-school care for this school. Children can come to us from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM on weekdays. During school holidays, we are open all day from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM. We operate an open-door policy, allowing children to choose which activities they want to participate in. Summary
GGD Flevoland conducted an unannounced follow-up inspection at after-school care (BSO) Blink Noorderplassen in Almere on 29 September 2026. This inspection followed an annual inspection on 21 May 2026 during which violations were identified regarding pedagogical policy, pedagogical practice, and health and safety policy. The location was given until 24 September 2026 to resolve these issues. During the follow-up inspection, improvements were evident: staff work sufficiently in accordance with policy, the childcare is pedagogically responsible, and the health and safety policy is being followed. Children show emotional wellbeing and interactions are friendly. However, providing challenging activities for children aged 8+ remains an area for attention. Handwashing is not always supervised, resulting in children sometimes going outside with wet hands. The advice to the municipality is: no enforcement action.
