The Municipal Health Service (GGD) Hollands Noorden conducted a registration inspection on 18 September 2025 at after-school care (BSO) Berend Botje, location Pippeloentje in Wervershoof. The new after-school care (BSO) for a maximum of 35 children (aged 4-13) in 2 base groups shares spaces with a toddler daycare at different times. The location is scheduled to open on 4 November 2025. All assessed conditions have been met. The premises offer sufficient space for 35 childcare places, not the requested 40. The pedagogical and safety policy is comprehensively documented; staff are already familiar with the policy due to their employment with Berend Botje. Pedagogical practice, staff registration in the PRK, staff-to-child ratio (BKR-ratio) and group composition will be assessed at a subsequent inspection. No violations or points for improvement were identified.
