About this care
Welcome to the after-school care (BSO) of Kindcentrum de Klimboom, located at Paardenhei 1 in Best. We provide care for children aged 4 to 12, both before and after school hours. Our BSO is part of Kindcentrum de Klimboom, which operates under Stichting Best Onderwijs.
Children at our BSO can choose their own activities. We use DoenKids, offering a wide range of options including arts and crafts, sports on the playground or in the gym, cooking and baking. There's also space for quiet activities like reading or relaxing.
Our qualified staff provide a safe and structured environment with clear rules, similar to school. We regularly organize special activities such as treasure hunts and holiday-themed events.
During school holidays, we offer a special program. Our BSO is then located at De Kastanjelaar in Milheeze. By combining locations, we can provide even more exciting activities.
Our BSO uses the school playground and has access to a garden where children can play and explore. We believe it's important that children feel at home and have fun, allowing them to develop optimally.Read more

Summary
The annual unannounced inspection by GGD Brabant-Zuidoost of Kindcentrum de Klimboom (after-school care/BSO) in Best was conducted on 10 March 2026. The location, part of Wij zijn JONG (formerly Korein Groep), provides after-school care (buitenschoolse opvang/BSO) for up to 44 children aged 4 to 7 years in two groups. All assessed domains – pedagogical climate, staff and groups, and safety and health – meet statutory requirements. Pedagogical practice aligns with the four basic objectives of Riksen-Walraven. Staff hold the correct diplomas and Certificates of Conduct (VOG), and the staff-to-child ratio is in order. No violations or areas for improvement were identified. The permit holder did not submit a response to the draft report.
