About this care
At after-school care De Zilverberg, children of all ages from primary school De Zilverberg come together. After school we enjoy a snack and a drink together. Then it's time to play, for example in the school auditorium or in the small gym. While the little ones climb on the equipment, the older children enjoy dancing. We also use the school's learning plaza, where your child can quietly read a book or play a game.
We are often found outside as well. Children can romp around on the large playground under the supervision of our pedagogical staff. You will find a large sandbox, a playhouse, a cool big swing, a climbing wall and football goals. And let's not forget the amazing large elephant on and around which your child can play to their heart's content. In summer we hang up a shade sail to protect your child from the bright sun.
If your child attends De Zilverberg on Wednesdays, Fridays and/or during school holidays, we provide care at BSO Drakenfort Broeksingel in Malden. During school weeks we pick up your child after school at De Zilverberg and take them to Drakenfort Broeksingel. During school holidays you can drop off and pick up your child there.Read more

After-school care (BSO) De Zilverberg in Overasselt, part of KION Kinderopvang B.V., was inspected on 29 January 2026 by GGD Gelderland-Zuid. The after-school care (BSO) accommodates up to 30 children in two base groups (ages 4-7 and 7-13) and is located in primary school De Zilverberg. The pedagogical practice meets requirements well: there is a relaxed atmosphere, children are emotionally safe, and attention is paid to social development. However, the pedagogical policy plan lacked a concrete description of the considerations for staffing and group distribution. Following a recovery offer with a deadline of 19 March 2026, the provider amended this on the website. All staff hold appropriate qualifications and Certificates of Conduct (VOG). The municipality is advised not to take enforcement action.
