About this care
BSO Wereldwijzer is located inside primary school De Wereldwijzer in Utrecht’s Rivierenwijk district. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 12 who attend this school. When the school day ends, children gather to share stories about their day in a relaxed atmosphere. Afterwards they can play on their own or together and take part in organised activities.
Our programme is varied and includes cooking activities and plenty of outdoor play on the school playground. The professional staff of Kind & Co Ludens create a safe and enjoyable environment guided by our Pedagogisch Hart: children should feel happy and have fun, because that is when they have room to grow and discover. We offer a rich setting where play, exploration and learning go hand in hand.
During school holidays and study days we cooperate with BSO De Boog so parents can rely on continuous care. Care is available on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 14:00 to 18:00 inside the school building at Lingestraat 2A.Read more

Summary
The Municipal Health Service (GGD) conducted an unannounced ad-hoc inspection at after-school care (BSO) Wereldwijzer in Utrecht on 18 August 2026. The inspection was carried out following a request from the licence holder to increase the number of childcare places from 20 to 33, due to the relocation of group BSO De Jutter to this location. The inspection assessed whether the location meets the statutory requirements for this expansion. The inspector concludes that the licence holder meets all assessed requirements under the Childcare Act. The additional spaces provide sufficient capacity, the staff-to-child ratio is assured with 3 childcare professionals and 1 work-based learning (BBL) student for 33 children, and the pedagogical policy has been adapted. The fitting out of the spaces was not yet fully completed during the visit due to summer holiday maintenance, but the location manager explained that this will be finished by 31 August 2026, which the inspector considers plausible.
