About this care
Avonturis Roosendaal is an after-school care (BSO) facility located at Lavadijk 185 in Roosendaal. We are part of Avonturis Democratisch Kindcentrum, an organization that combines democratic education with childcare. Our BSO location accommodates up to 22 children aged 4 to 12 years and has been registered in the National Childcare Register since November 25, 2020, under number 462949187.
We are housed in the building "de Spinel," allowing us to provide a small-scale and homely atmosphere. Our pedagogical staff are ready to receive children after school hours and guide them in their free time. We operate from the vision of democratic education, where there is room for children's own initiative and development.

Avonturis Roosendaal (BSO) is an after-school care (BSO) for up to 22 children aged 4-13, located in the scouting building 'De Spinel' in Roosendaal. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) conducted an unannounced annual inspection on 21 March 2025. All assessed areas – pedagogical climate, staff and groups, parental rights – meet legal requirements. The pedagogical policy is up to date and followed; the four core objectives (emotional safety, personal and social development, value transfer) are guaranteed. Staff registration, staff-to-child ratios and group size are in order. Parents are well informed via the website, there is a complaints procedure and affiliation with the Disputes Committee; a parent committee is not required due to the small size. No violations or areas for improvement identified. No recovery offer needed. Advice to the municipality: no enforcement action.
