About this care
BSO 2Karpers is located in the basement of the Ichtus Church in the heart of the Belgian Park area in Scheveningen. Two of our groups are based at the Willem de Zwijger primary school on Gentsestraat 124, where children from grades 1 to 4 can join after school. We provide a homely atmosphere that offers both calm and adventure. The green schoolyard with a real water pump is a favourite: children build, garden, discover insects and invent exciting games. Each week has a different theme, ranging from survival and camp days to creative workshops and KICKS game afternoons. During holidays and teacher-training days we team up with BSO 2Rendieren, creating an even wider range of outings and activities. Parents receive a weekly digital newsletter with photos and reports so they know exactly what their child has experienced. Summary
The Municipal Health Service (GGD) Haaglanden conducted an unannounced incidental inspection at after-school care (BSO) 2Karpers in 's-Gravenhage on 3 July 2026. The inspection focused on assessing an expansion from 40 to 44 childcare places, which had already been implemented on 23 June 2026. The inspection demonstrated that both the indoor space (198 m²) and outdoor space (1225 m²) more than meet the legal requirements for 44 children. The holder had reported the change to the municipality in a timely manner. No violations or areas for improvement were identified during this inspection. The GGD advises the municipality to approve the change in the LRK.
