About this care
Animatiehuis is a professional after-school care facility (BSO) located at Bennekelstraat 135 in Eindhoven. We are open on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays; care on other days can be arranged by mutual agreement. With a maximum capacity of 40 school-age children, we provide a safe and homely place where children can play, relax and discover new things after school.
Our BSO has been registered in the National Childcare Register since 12 June 2017 and operates in accordance with all statutory quality requirements. We charge an hourly rate of € 7.00 and are known for our flexible childcare options, allowing parents to match our services to their own working hours and schedules.
Animatiehuis works closely with parents through an active parent committee. Minutes and regulations of this committee are publicly available, so you are always informed of our developments and policies. Korein Bennekelstraat (BSO) in Eindhoven, part of Wij zijn JONG, was inspected by GGD Brabant-Zuidoost on 26 November 2025. The after-school care (buitenschoolse opvang/BSO) accommodates 40 children aged 4-12, divided across two base groups. The inspection was an unannounced annual review assessing pedagogical climate, staff and groups, and parental rights. All assessed quality requirements were fully met. The pedagogical practice showed strong points: personal attention for children, calm atmosphere, active support in helping children understand rules, and good group overview by staff members. No areas for improvement or violations were identified. Staff hold the appropriate qualifications, Certificate of Conduct (VOG) declarations, and language proficiency at level 2F. The licence holder responded with delight to the positive outcome. The advice to the municipality of Eindhoven is: no enforcement action.
