About this care
Welcome to 2Spelende Beren, our cheerful after-school care centre in the Moerwijk district. We are located at Guntersteinweg 62, right next to the green Overvoorde park. This setting gives us plenty of space to play outside every day—running, climbing, football or simply exploring nature.
At 2Spelende Beren we work with a maximum of 36 children per day. We are part of Stichting Kinderopvang 2Samen, an organisation that has been providing trusted and safe childcare in The Hague and surrounding areas for many years.
Our activity programme is broad and varied. Think of sports and games, crafts, drama, technology, cooking or music. We tailor activities to the children’s interests and make use of the opportunities offered by the local environment. Every week there is room for personal input, so children can choose where they want to put their energy.
We pick up children from various primary schools in the neighbourhood and ensure a relaxed transition from school to after-school care. Our pedagogical staff are ready with a listening ear, help with homework when needed and offer a safe place to unwind after the school day.

Summary
GGD Haaglanden conducted an unannounced annual inspection on 15 June 2026 at 2Spelende Beren, an after-school care (BSO) in 's-Gravenhage for 36 children (ages 4–12). The location is part of Stichting Kinderopvang 2Samen and is situated on the ground floor of primary school Grote Beer. The location meets the legal requirements on all items examined. The pedagogical practice aligns well with policy: staff interact with children in a respectful and responsive manner, and enforce agreements in an understandable way. All staff hold the correct qualifications and valid Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG). The safety and health policy is up to date and continuously evaluated, including specific attention to safe transport. The domestic violence and child abuse reporting protocol is tailored to the location and known to staff. Parents are well informed and there is an active parent committee. The only note is that the questionnaire sent to the parent committee was not returned in time, so their input could not be included in the report. No complaints were submitted by parents in 2025.
