Summary
BSO Al Hikma, an after-school care (BSO) for children aged 4 to 13 in Rotterdam, has been closed since 5 January 2026 due to too few registrations. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) follow-up inspection on 17 March 2026 could not reassess the previously identified violations (domestic violence and child abuse reporting protocol, and reporting, consultation, and disclosure obligations) because no children are currently being cared for. The provider had not notified the municipality of Rotterdam of the closure. There is no clarity yet on resuming operations.
