About this care
Welcome to BSO Aelse, located at Joannes Riviusstraat 4 in the centre of Elsloo. We are part of MIK & Spelenderwijs and provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 13. Our BSO is open every weekday after school until 6.30 p.m. and during all school holidays from 8.00 a.m. to 6.30 p.m.
Children feel at home in our varied spaces: a mancave for chilling out, a creative studio corner, the red carpet for play and dance, and a relaxed chill room. Our large garden invites outdoor play, with plenty of room to cycle, play football, run around or simply enjoy the fresh air.
We work closely with primary school Kindcentrum Aelse, ensuring a smooth and familiar transition from school to after-school care. Parents can also arrange early-morning care and tailor-made holiday care.

The annual inspection on 2 September 2026 at BSO Aelse in Elsloo, conducted by GGD Zuid-Limburg, presents a positive picture. The after-school care (BSO) meets all assessed quality requirements in the areas of administration, pedagogical climate, staff and groups, and safety and health. The location provides care for a maximum of 74 children aged 4 to 8 years, divided across three base groups. During school holidays, children up to 12 years are also accommodated, sometimes in cooperation with BSO Aelse Dependance. The safety and health policy is up-to-date and well adhered to.
