Socrates (Bonte Koe) is part of Kindcentrum Socrates in the Bangert-Oosterpolder neighbourhood in Zwaag, near the shopping centre and next to community centre MFA de Kreek. The branch at Lage Hoek 71 offers daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) for children aged 0-4 years with a baby group, vertical groups and a 3+ group, plus after-school care (BSO) for children aged 5-13 years and a bespoke group for flexible childcare.
At the daycare center we work with the Startblokken early childhood education method, through which children stimulate their broad personal development through play. The baby group is specially set up for the very youngest with a playpen, activity wall and crib. The 3+ group playfully prepares toddlers for primary school with targeted themed activities.
