Boartershiem

Welcome to Kinderopvang Boartershiem, a small-scale daycare center located in the heart of Akkrum at Leppedyk 5B. We provide care for children aged 0 to 4 years in a homely and safe environment where rest, rhythm and connection are central. Our daycare has a capacity of 13 child places and operates according to a fixed daily and yearly structure that aligns with the natural development of young children. At Boartershiem, we believe that rest and rhythm are essential for the development of babies and toddlers. Therefore, we work with a predictable daily routine where play and rest alternate. We also follow an annual rhythm that connects with seasons, themes and annual celebrations. This gives children stability and strengthens their basic trust, which forms the foundation for later development. Our care is specialized in baby care. We offer a warm and secure environment where every child feels safe and at home. We stimulate connection between children, between young and old, and between children and their environment. Playing together, working together and learning together are central to our approach. We work closely with parents and other professionals to best meet the needs of each child. Every week we organize a movement activity where children develop their motor skills in a playful way. Additionally, there is a monthly activity in the large hall where different ages come together. This strengthens the sense of community and stimulates social development. We are open to diversity and believe it's important that every child can be themselves within our safe and loving environment.
