In one of the most beautiful spots in Amsterdam, right in the middle of Vondelpark, you will find Basker (formerly BLOS) toddler care for children aged 2 to 4 years. We are open on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
Our toddler care provides a safe and challenging environment for your toddler. It is a place where children can discover the world through play. We stimulate, challenge and encourage. To take steps forward together. Bigger, wiser, stronger! Our pedagogical staff take your child and the other children on a journey of discovery. Explore our 500m2 garden - climb, scramble, jump on the trampoline and run around.

The annual Municipal Health Service (GGD) inspection on 19 May 2026 shows that the location meets all quality requirements. The team consists of 2 permanent staff members who respond sensitively to the children and offer activities that stimulate personal development, such as music, dance, yoga and clay modelling. There was one minor point: the back-up staff arrangement was not described correctly in the safety and health policy, although the arrangement functioned well in practice. The location manager corrected this immediately and the revised policy was sent to the GGD. No violations were identified and no recovery offer was made. The GGD advises that the report be received for information.
