About this care
BLOS After-School Care Sint Antoniuslaan 13 is located in the heart of Sassenheim, within walking distance of Park Rusthoff and the lively town centre. We provide care for up to 50 primary-school children aged 4 to 12. Our dedicated team of pedagogical professionals believes that children grow through adventure. Every day we encourage them to make their own choices, discover new things and, together with friends, learn about themselves, others and the world around them.
The centre is open Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 18:30. Our approach is guided by a clear pedagogical policy that puts learning through play at the centre. We offer a safe yet challenging environment where every child can be themselves and develop at their own pace. Thanks to the nearby park and town centre, we can regularly organise fun outings and explore the surroundings.

Summary
The Municipal Health Service (GGD) conducted an unannounced annual inspection on 26 January 2026 at Club Basker - Sassempark in Sassenheim, an after-school care (BSO) facility for up to 50 children aged 4–13. The location, housed in the former De Rank primary school building, is part of Basker Kinderopvang B.V. All assessed quality requirements were met: pedagogical climate, staff and groups, and safety and health. Staff act in accordance with the pedagogical policy, offer children freedom of choice in activities, and communicate in a child-centred manner. All staff members hold the required qualifications and Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG). No violations or areas for improvement were identified. The licence holder has indicated satisfaction and a commitment to maintaining quality standards.
