About this care
At Bibelebos childcare in Voorschoten, children aged 0 to 4 discover the garden every day, from building mud castles to cycling and playing hide and seek. Our location at Ter Lips 131 offers space for up to 50 children and has been officially registered since January 1, 2015. We are part of Norlandia childcare, a national organization known for safe, homely and development-oriented care.
Bibelebos has a spacious, green outdoor area where children go outside every day. Playing in the garden is central: they are given the space to explore, move and learn by doing. The natural environment stimulates their curiosity and contributes to their motor and social development.
We work with a warm, personal approach. Every child is unique and receives the attention they need to develop at their own pace. Our pedagogical staff are professional and involved, and create a safe and familiar environment where children feel at home.

Summary
Daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) Bibelebos in Voorschoten (50 places, ages 0-4) received its annual unannounced Municipal Health Service (GGD) inspection on 23 July 2025. The pedagogical climate and personnel policy fully meet requirements: staff are well-trained, ratios are correct, Certificates of Conduct (VOGs) and first aid certificates are in order, and children experience emotional safety and positive guidance. There were two violations. 1. Safety: evacuation cribs were filled with items or could not roll. Following a recovery offer, the organization submitted a plan with an empty-cribs agreement and a control checklist; the shortcoming has since been resolved. 2. Parent participation: no parent committee has been established while more than 50 children are placed. The location is requesting written advice from parents until a committee is formed. The GGD advises the municipality to enforce.
