About this care
Welcome to BSO Bernadette, located in the front part of Bernadette primary school at Mariastraat 33 in Mariahout. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 13. After school, children are welcome to play and relax in a familiar environment. The BSO has a cozy character and offers something for every child: a chill corner for chatting or reading, a play kitchen area, a construction zone for creative building, and tables for board games or crafts.
Children can move and play both in the gym and on the large green schoolyard with natural elements. Thanks to our close cooperation with Bernadette Broad School, your child will feel right at home. We offer care before and after school and during school holidays. Summary
This inspection report concerns an incidental investigation at after-school care (BSO) Bernadette in Mariahout, conducted by GGD Brabant-Zuidoost. The reason was an application to expand the number of childcare places from 12 to 16. The inspection was announced and included document review, a site visit, and interviews with staff. For both the 'general quality and compliance conditions' and 'accommodation' components, all quality requirements were met. The indoor space provides 3.6 m² per child at 16 places, which exceeds the legal standard of 3.5 m². The outdoor space also meets the requirements. The holder did not make use of the opportunity to submit a response.
