About this care
Peuteropvang Beertje is located in the school complex of primary schools De Toonladder and Vroonestein, directly opposite the Beatrix school at Lohengrinhof 15 in Nieuwegein. We provide care for up to 16 toddlers aged 2 to 4 years in a clear, safe group. Our classroom is spacious and bright and offers different play corners: a home corner, a construction corner and a quiet corner with a comfortable sofa. Each day starts with a welcome ritual and a shared moment, after which the children choose where they want to play. We work thematically according to the Uk & Puk method, which playfully stimulates language development. Outdoor play is essential for us; our large outdoor playground offers plenty of space to run, cycle and explore. During school holidays the toddler care is closed. Our pedagogical approach is the Pedagogical Heart of Kind & Co Ludens: children are allowed to be themselves, are given trust and space to discover and learn together in a rich, challenging environment.Read more
