About this care
Welcome to Beer Balou, our cozy daycare center located at Noordakker 4 in Spijkenisse. We are part of Partou and provide professional childcare for children aged 0 to 4 years. At our location, up to 72 children can safely go on adventures, explore and discover.
Our certified childcare professionals are ready to provide your child with a warm and safe environment. We work with horizontal groups, where children are placed in age groups. This creates a calm and manageable situation that matches your child's developmental stage.
At Beer Balou, we focus on music, movement and outdoor play. We have our own outdoor playground where children can play to their heart's content and discover nature. The location is centrally located in the De Akkers district, near shops, school complexes and Spijkenisse Centrum metro station.
Our opening hours are from 7:00 AM to 6:30 PM, allowing us to flexibly respond to your childcare needs. We offer both full and half-day care. In our building you will also find BSO Jungle and toddler care Kaboutertjes, which is convenient for continuous care as your child grows older.

Summary
Daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) Beer Balou in Spijkenisse provides care for 72 children aged 0-4 years, including early childhood education. The inspection on 24 February 2025 shows that the location meets the quality requirements on almost all aspects: the pedagogical climate is good, the pedagogical practice provides children with emotional safety and development, the safety and health policy is up-to-date and adhered to, and all staff members hold the correct diplomas and declarations. There is only one violation: a parent committee has still not been established, despite active recruitment efforts. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) advises the municipality to enforce, but the municipality had already decided earlier not to impose sanctions due to mitigating circumstances.
