About this care
Welcome to Bazenbos, our adventure after-school care located in the forests of Bergeijk. We are part of Nummereen Childcare and offer a unique after-school care experience where children aged 4 to 13 embark on a new adventure every day.
At Bazenbos, children can release their energy after school. We play together, explore our boundaries and most importantly, have fun. Children build huts, track wildlife, climb trees and go on discovery tours in nature. Being outdoors and playing in nature is central to our approach.
Our location at Fazantlaan 15 accommodates up to 60 children. We are open on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Our team of pedagogical staff guides the children in all their discoveries and adventures in the forest.
Bazenbos has been officially registered in the National Childcare Register since June 10, 2024, under number 130316453. Strengths
- Pedagogical practice meets all basic objectives: emotional safety, personal and social competence, and values transmission
- All staff members hold the correct qualifications, Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG), and language proficiency certificate
- Staffing levels and staff-child ratios are in order
- Domestic violence and child abuse reporting protocol is complete and properly applied
- Stable core groups with mentor structure for each child

Summary
The Municipal Health Service (GGD) inspected BSO Bazenbos in Bergeijk on 9 June 2026. The location, operated by Nummereen Kinderopvang, provides after-school care (BSO) for up to 60 children in a nature-rich setting. The inspection showed that the location meets quality requirements in the areas of pedagogical climate, staff and groups, and safety and health. However, one violation was identified: no parent committee has been established, while this is legally mandatory when more than 50 children are registered. The holder has made efforts to recruit parents, but this has not yet resulted in a committee. No recovery offer was made. The GGD advises enforcement.
