Welcome to Babino Toddler Care De Dijk-West, located at De Tribune 26 in the heart of Zaandam. We provide toddler care for children aged 2 to 4 in a homely and secure environment. As part of Peuteropvang Zaanstad B.V., we work closely with primary school OBS De Dijk within one integrated child centre (IKC). This ensures that activities and developmental goals flow seamlessly into primary education, giving children and parents one familiar pedagogical line. Our pedagogical staff offer development-oriented activities based on the Pre- and Early School Education (VVE) programme Piramide Digitaal. Through play we stimulate language, numeracy, social and motor skills. In the challenging play corners toddlers can let their imagination run free: building with blocks, crafting, role play and discovering at the nature table. The spacious indoor area is warmly furnished and feels like an extension of home. Outside we have our own, safely enclosed playground with challenging equipment. Children can run, cycle, build sandcastles and play together. We go outside almost every day, so toddlers get plenty of exercise and fresh air. The outdoor area ties in with our nature themes and stimulates curiosity and discovery. Our group is small-scale: a maximum of 16 places with a fixed team of pedagogical staff. This creates calm, familiarity and personal attention for every child. We work with horizontal age groups, so activities perfectly match the developmental stage of 2- to 4-year-olds. Parents can choose morning care from Monday to Friday, 8.30 – 12.30. During school holidays the toddler care is closed.
