About this care
Welcome to Babino BSO Olympia, located at Jaap Bootpad 2 in Seandelft, Assendelft. Our after-school care facility is part of the nationwide Babino childcare organisation and provides care for up to 22 children aged 4 to 12.
BSO Olympia is uniquely situated on the grounds of korfball club Furore. We use the club canteen as our play area and have full access to the sports fields. Every afternoon our pedagogical staff organise a fun movement activity and introduce the children to the basics of various sports in a playful way. After school is also free time, so there is always room to relax and do their own thing.
During school holidays and study days Olympia is closed; our children are then cared for at BSO De Brandakker, where a varied activity programme awaits, including cooking, sports and games, creative workshops and excursions to the forest, a playground or the bowling alley.
We collect the children from school with our own transport (on foot, by bike, BSO bus or car). Safety during transport is paramount. Our opening hours are Tuesday and Thursday from the end of the school day until 6.30 pm; during holidays and study days we are open Tuesday and Friday from 7.00/8.30 am to 6.30 pm.
Feel free to drop by for a tour or register your child directly via our website.Read more

Summary
Babino BSO Olympia in Assendelft is an after-school care (BSO) for up to 22 children aged 4 to 12, located in the canteen of korfball club Furore. The annual Municipal Health Service (GGD) investigation showed that the location meets the quality requirements in the areas of pedagogical climate, staff and groups, and accommodation. In the area of safety and health, there was initially a violation: the safety and health policy lacked concrete agreements regarding environmental water, and the beer tap in the group room was not covered as the policy requires. Following a recovery offer, the provider amended the policy, posted group agreements, placed a cover on the beer tap, and discussed the measures with the team. As a result, these requirements are now also being met. The GGD advises no enforcement action.
