Summary

Atalenta KDV Pionier in Valkenswaard is a toddler daycare (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) for a maximum of 16 children (ages 2–4), temporarily located at Haagstraat 136 due to renovation of the permanent building on Kromstraat. The annual unannounced inspection by GGD Brabant-Zuidoost (Municipal Health Service) showed that the location fundamentally meets the statutory quality requirements. The pedagogical climate, pedagogical practice, and stability of the care are in order. Staff members act sensitively and provide a safe, stimulating environment. However, four violations were identified in the areas of early education (voorschoolse educatie/VE) and staff registration, for which a recovery offer was made. All violations have since been resolved. The GGD advises no enforcement action.
