About this care
At Christoforus Kinderopvang, we offer a safe and loving environment where children have the space to develop. Our locations are small-scale and spread across various cities, allowing us to create a warm, homely atmosphere. We believe that children need examples more than criticism, and therefore we encourage their development through positive role models.
Our childcare focuses on children from 0 to 4 years at our daycare centers (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) and from 4 to 12 years at our after-school care (BSO). We offer a wide range of activities tailored to the needs and interests of the children. We use sustainable toys and natural materials, so that children can connect with nature in a playful way.
We are proud of our complaint-free status in 2023, which reflects our dedication to quality and care. Summary
The Municipal Health Service (GGD) inspection report of 11 June 2026 concerns a follow-up inspection of daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) Arnhem Zuid in Arnhem. The inspection focused on the educational requirements for the pedagogical policy staff member, an issue that was found to be non-compliant during the annual inspection on 9 March 2026. The municipality issued a formal instruction on 1 May 2026 to remedy the shortcoming. The holder has now taken sufficient measures by deploying a second, fully qualified pedagogical coach who works alongside the original coach (who does not yet hold a diploma but is expected to obtain it within two weeks). All coaching is now carried out under the responsibility of the qualified coach. The location now meets the required quality standard.
