About this care
At JongLeren in The Hague, we offer toddlers aged 2.5 to 4 years a safe and stimulating environment where they learn through play and develop at their own pace. Our locations are spread throughout The Hague, so there's always a site near you. We believe children learn best by discovering and experiencing things for themselves. That's why this approach is central to our toddler learning groups.
Our professional and caring staff help toddlers develop a strong sense of self. We stimulate development through play and ensure a better start at primary school. We also promote parental involvement, so parents are actively engaged in their child's development.
JongLeren offers free preschool toddler places with a referral from the Centre for Youth and Family (Centrum Jeugd en Gezin). For older children aged 4 to 13, we provide childcare options at several primary schools, with a focus on discovering, developing, and relaxing. We also organise events such as the Preschool Day (Dag van de Voorschool) and the JongLeren Summer School, so children and parents can enjoy educational and fun activities together.Read more

Summary
The annual inspection of June 5, 2026, of childcare center Anne Frank in 's-Gravenhage shows an overall well-functioning toddler learning environment (peuterleerplek). The location offers early childhood education to a maximum of 16 children aged 2.5 to 4 years. The pedagogical quality, staff qualifications, safety, and health meet the legal requirements. One violation was identified: the location does not have a fixed, permanently available outdoor play area of its own. The children use the school playground of the adjacent primary school according to a fixed schedule. The municipality of Den Haag issued a tolerance decision (gedoogbeschikking) for this in 2018.
