Summary

This inspection report concerns a registration investigation for childminder/host parent care (gastouderopvang) provided by A.A. van Vulpen in Scherpenzeel. The childminder provides care in the requesting parent's home on Wednesdays, arranged through CGOB De Herberg Utrecht. Six childcare places have been requested for three children aged 0, 3, and 4. The inspection was carried out on 2 April 2026 by the Safety and Health Region Gelderland Midden on behalf of the municipality of Scherpenzeel. All assessed areas meet the statutory requirements: registration, pedagogical climate, requirements for the childminder, accommodation and facilities, and safety and health. The childminder holds the required diploma, a valid first aid certificate, and is registered in the persons register. The pedagogical practice could not be assessed as care had not yet started, but good pedagogical practice is expected based on the interview. The childminder waived the right of hearing and reply procedure.
