About this care
Welcome to Het Groene Atelier, our after-school care facility in Veenendaal. We are located at Oudeveen 232 and are part of Kwink, an organization with over 10 locations in the region. Our facility accommodates up to 54 children aged 4 to 13.
At Het Groene Atelier, creativity is at the heart of everything we do. Our spacious location gives children plenty of room to express themselves creatively. We believe in the power of self-expression and provide children with the opportunity to explore what excites them. Whether it's drawing, painting, crafting, or building – children are free to unleash their creativity.
Our pedagogical staff guide the children with care and stimulate their development in a playful way. We create a safe and challenging environment where children can grow and discover new things. Summary
BSO Het Groene Atelier in Veenendaal is an after-school care (BSO) for 54 children aged 4-12, inspected on 25 February 2025. The pedagogical climate, staffing matters, and parent involvement meet all requirements. There were shortcomings in the safety and health policy: insufficiently described risks regarding stale air in the game room, and some staff members' unfamiliarity with the evacuation procedure. The organisation accepted the recovery offer: additional CO2 meters installed, game room work agreements tightened, door must remain open, staff have been instructed, and the evacuation drill has been repeated. Upon re-inspection on 15 April 2025, everything was found to be in order. The municipality was advised not to apply enforcement.
