IKC Brasa voorschool- VSO/BSO

Welcome to Voorschool IKC Brasa (formerly Nellestein), located in the heart of the Gaasperdam neighbourhood at Leksmondplein 31 in Amsterdam Zuidoost. Our daycare centre is part of Zonova opvang and is connected to and housed within a classroom of IKC Brasa. We provide preschool care for children aged 2 to 4 years according to the Ubuntu philosophy: 'I am because we are'. At Voorschool IKC Brasa we work with recognised VVE programmes such as Uk en Puk and Piramide, where learning through play is central. We offer changing themes that invite children to varied play and language use. Each child develops in their own way and at their own pace, with our pedagogical staff stimulating each child within their capabilities. Our group spaces are cosily furnished with play corners that invite discovery and play. We provide a safe and familiar environment where your child can optimally develop in language, motor skills, play and social-emotional skills. Daily outdoor play and healthy nutrition complete our care. We have opening hours from 08:30 to 13:50, Monday to Friday. All rates include fruit, bread meals, snacks, drinks and nappies. Our location has the 'complaint-free' certificate for 2025 from the Disputes Committee for Childcare. Parents are very welcome in the group and at parent activities, and we work closely with the parent committee.
