• At the time of the inspection, the childminder had not yet established her own pedagogical work plan (Art. 1.56b(1) and (2) of the Childcare Act; Art. 16 of the Quality Decree for Childminder Agencies, Childminders and Childminder Care Facilities). A recovery offer was made, after which the violation was resolved.

Summary

This inspection report concerns a registration inspection for childminder/host parent care (gastouderopvang) Kuiers in Meppel, conducted by the Municipal Health Service (GGD) Drenthe. The childminder provides care for two children aged 4 and 6 at the parents' home, through childminder agency Kinderopvang Mathil. The inspection found that the location meets the statutory quality requirements almost entirely. One violation was identified: the childminder did not yet have an established pedagogical work plan. A recovery offer was made for this. Following this recovery offer, the requirements are now met. All other areas – registration, competency, accommodation, safety and health – were assessed positively. The advice to the municipality is positive: include in the National Childcare Register.
