About this care
Welcome to Daycare 't Paradijsje, a small-scale childcare location operated by Kindcentrum Academia at Burgemeester Gijsenlaan 10 in Schiedam. We provide a homely and safe environment for up to 15 children aged 0 to 4 years. Our daycare works closely with Islamic primary school Ababil within an Integral Child Centre (IKC).
At 't Paradijsje, we follow the Piramide method, a recognized early childhood education programme focused on stimulating language, social and cognitive development. Through thematic activities, play and interaction, we lay a broad foundation for each child's development. Our qualified, professional childcare staff give every child the personal attention they need.
We believe it is important for children to feel safe and secure. Therefore, we work with familiar faces in each group. The children are cared for in one vertical base group with two subgroups: Ukkies for children aged 0-2 years and Pukkies for children aged 2-4 years. Each subgroup has its own space where age-appropriate activities are carried out.

The Municipal Health Service (GGD) report dated 15 January 2025 evaluates daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) 't Paradijsje in Schiedam.
