Summary

STH IKC Florence Nightingale in Zoetermeer provides early childhood education to a maximum of 15 children aged 2-4 years. During a follow-up inspection on 8 September 2025, it emerged that the accommodation requirements are still not being met: the outdoor play space is insufficiently large and not adjacent to the daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV). The location therefore temporarily uses outdoor space elsewhere (STH Het Toekannest), but that space is too small when combined with their own group. The pedagogical quality (early education) does meet all requirements: staff are qualified, language-proficient and present in the correct ratio. The municipality is advised to take enforcement action.
