About this care
At Kappio Kinderopvang, we provide a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children from 0 to 12 years old. Our daycare centers (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) and after-school care (BSO) are specially designed to meet the needs of every child. We believe that children learn best through play, sharing, and experiencing things together. That's why we offer a wide range of activities focused on each child's development.
Our pedagogical approach is aimed at stimulating children's talents. We offer structured learning activities, outdoor play, music and movement, and arts and crafts. All of this takes place in an environment where parents are actively involved in the care process, so that together we can provide the best possible care for your child.

Summary
The Municipal Health Service (GGD) investigation into daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) Sterrekijkers in Julianadorp, conducted on 29 June 2026, shows that the location now complies with all assessed legal requirements. This was a follow-up investigation into previously identified violations in the area of early education (voorschoolse educatie/VE). In December 2024 and November 2025, violations were established: there were insufficiently qualified VE staff present and the staff-child ratio was incorrect (1 to 8). The municipality issued an instruction on both occasions. For this follow-up investigation, staff rosters, attendance lists, and diplomas from May to June 2026 were checked. All formally deployed staff members now hold the correct qualifications, VE certificates, and 3F language certificates. The violations have been resolved.
