About this care
Welcome to Kindcentrum Splash! In our cozy child center in the heart of Leidschendam, we provide daycare for children aged 0 to 4 years. We are officially registered since August 1, 2012 in the National Childcare Register under number 187305560 and have a capacity of 16 children.
Our location works closely with primary school De Zonnewijzer, maintaining continuous learning and development lines. This ensures a smooth and familiar transition from childcare to primary education. The entrance to our child center is located on Rijnlandstraat, through the gate of primary school De Zonnewijzer.
We offer preschool education (VE) and focus on the comprehensive development of your child. Our activities include structured learning activities, outdoor play, music and movement, arts and crafts, and reading. We believe it is important that children feel safe and secure, so they can grow and flourish optimally.

Strengths

- The number of target group toddlers as of 1 January 2026 was not documented, meaning the minimum deployment of the pedagogical policy officer for early childhood education could not be determined
Summary
The annual inspection of 22 June 2026 at Vlietkinderen Splash, a toddler daycare (early childhood education/VE) for up to 16 children aged 2-4 in Leidschendam, shows a predominantly positive picture. The pedagogical practice is satisfactory: staff provide emotional security, stimulate language development and social behaviour. Safety, health, staff qualifications and parental involvement are in order. However, two violations were identified in the domain of pedagogical climate: the early childhood education training plan was insufficiently specific and the number of target group toddlers as of 1 January 2026 was not documented in time, meaning the deployment of the pedagogical policy officer could not be determined. Both violations have been resolved through a recovery offer. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) advises no enforcement.

Very friendly, caring day care. My son enjoys here after his school. They do nice activities, play games. All staff is supportive, helping and caring....
