Daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) Prikkebeen in Leiden was inspected unannounced on 16 October 2024 by GGD Hollands Midden (Municipal Health Service). The location provides care for up to 32 children aged 0–4 years and uses the preschool education programme Uk & Puk. The report shows that Prikkebeen meets all statutory quality requirements regarding pedagogical climate, staff and groups, safety and health. No shortcomings or violations were identified. The staff have warm, secure bonds with the children and stimulate their development in a playful manner. The safety and health policy is current and well implemented. No recovery offer was required. The municipality of Leiden is advised not to take enforcement measures.
