About this care
Korein Urkhovenseweg is located in the Tongelre district of Eindhoven and is part of Spilcentrum ’t Karregat. We provide daycare for children aged 0 to 4 years. Through our close collaboration with primary school ’t Karregat, we ensure a continuous developmental path from baby to toddler. This makes the transition to primary school smooth and familiar.
Our daycare center has 40 places, divided between baby and toddler groups. The spacious, bright group rooms with large windows literally give children all the space they need to develop. We work from the vision that children who feel good develop optimally. We create a warm atmosphere with plenty of personal attention and let children discover in their own way.

Summary
The Municipal Health Service (GGD) inspection report of 10 March 2026 concerns a follow-up inspection at daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) Korein Urkhovenseweg in Eindhoven. This inspection followed an annual inspection on 30 September 2025 in which five violations were identified. The follow-up inspection found that all assessed quality requirements are met. The previously identified violations concerned: a missing ECE certificate for a staff member, an incorrect ratio of ECE-qualified staff, non-compliant implementation of the safety and health policy, a missing concrete action plan, and the absence of an active parent committee. Under the leadership of a new location manager, appointed in February 2026, all shortcomings have been resolved. She conducted a baseline assessment, drew up an action plan and established two working groups. The parent committee has been reconstituted with three members. The GGD advises no enforcement action.
