Summary

The Municipal Health Service (GGD) inspected the after-school care (BSO) Knutselkookclub Zaanenschool in Haarlem on 9 March 2026. The unannounced follow-up investigation shows that previously identified violations have not been remedied and that two new serious violations have been added. The operator forged a first aid (EHBO) certificate, provided unreliable information to the authorities, and an adult with a valid first aid (EHBO) certificate was structurally absent despite elevated risks from cooking activities. Problems also persisted in the areas of pedagogical policy, staff deployment, attendance registration, and stability of care. The GGD advises enforcement with aggravating circumstances.
