Summary

The unannounced incidental inspection on 26 February 2026 at KDV Talent4Kidz B.V. in Almere revealed a serious crisis. The operator had been declared bankrupt without the Municipal Health Service (GGD) having been informed. There was no longer a registered director, meaning no one was authorized to act on behalf of the organization. The location struggled with insufficient staff, food for only two days, and diaper shortages. Qualified staff were visibly stressed and emotionally burdened. The curator could not guarantee responsible childcare. The GGD immediately issued a written closure order from 26 February to 9 March 2026. Parents were called to collect their children. The GGD advises the municipality of Almere to immediately deregister both the daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) and the associated after-school care (BSO) from the National Childcare Register (Landelijk Register Kinderopvang).
