About this care

At Kindercentrum Doen on Patriottenlaan 1 in Zwolle, we offer daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) for children aged 0-4 years. Our vision is inspired by Emmi Pikler, with three pillars: movement, play and care. We work with horizontal groups so that we can respond well to the children's developmental needs. The doors are open as much as possible, allowing children from different groups to play together in the shared play space where they can swing, climb and slide. Our strength is being truly curious — not with half an eye, but with our full attention.

Settling in

Settling in at Doen consists of an intake interview and two settling-in visits. We try to schedule these settling-in moments as much as possible on the days your child will eventually come to play. You will receive our intake form by email, which must be sent to the team one week before the first settling-in visit. The team that will be caring for your child will contact you for an introductory meeting. If necessary and in consultation with the parents, the settling-in period (wenperiode) can be extended.

Sick child policy

Parents can report their child sick via the Bitcare parent app. For detailed instructions on reporting sick and reporting better, please refer to the Bitcare help page.

Payment

Invoices are sent around the 20th of each month for the following month and are collected via automatic direct debit around the 23rd of each month. In December, the direct debit takes place around the 22nd.
