At Partou, we offer a loving and safe environment for children from 0 to 4 years old. Our childcare professionals are well-trained and ensure that every child can develop at their own pace. Parents are actively involved in the care of their child. Through our app, they regularly receive updates, photos, and messages about their child's experiences. This ensures good communication and engagement. We invite parents to request a tour so they can see for themselves how we work and what we have to offer. Summary
Partou KDV Franz Zieglerstraat 9 is a preschool daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) on IJburg in Amsterdam, located within primary school De Poseidon. The location accommodates up to 16 children aged 2.5 to 4 years and works with the preschool and early childhood education program (VVE) Startblokken. During the inspection on 29 January 2025, it was found that the location meets all statutory quality requirements. The team consists of three new permanent staff members who do not yet have experience with Startblokken and the digital tool Horeb. They have been registered for training to develop this knowledge. The pedagogical practice was assessed positively: there is attention for emotional safety, children are actively guided in play and interaction, and there is focus on self-reliance. Cooperation with the primary school is still limited, but written handovers do take place. No violations were found.
