Summary

GGD Flevoland conducted an unannounced follow-up inspection at daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) Little Family on Scarlattistraat in Almere on 25 September 2025. The inspection was prompted by violations identified during the annual inspection on 20 May 2025. Most shortcomings have since been resolved: the safety and health policy is available on-site and accessible, evacuation materials are present, the domestic violence reporting protocol is up to date, and staff have recently received training. It has also been demonstrated that 3.5 m² of indoor play space is available per child. However, two violations have not yet been fully resolved: the concrete description of the back-up staffing arrangement is still missing from the policy, and the mandatory parent committee is not legally constituted (only 1 member per location). The operator has made efforts to recruit additional members. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) advises the municipality not to enforce, but to reassess the back-up staffing arrangement in 2026 and to apply mitigating circumstances for the parent committee.
