Welcome to the toddler group of IKC Wemeldinge, part of Kibeo. Our toddler group is located on the ground floor of the modern integral child centre at Bierweg 1A in the heart of Wemeldinge. We provide care for children aged 2 to 4 in a safe, small-scale environment. The toddler group is open Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 18:30. There is plenty of room for your child's own input and we work from a varied programme that connects with the toddler's world of experience. We believe it is important that every child can develop at his or her own pace. Our pedagogical staff are ready to guide the children in play, discovery and making first friendships. Summary
GGD Zeeland conducted an unannounced annual inspection on 4 June 2026 at KDV IKC Wemeldinge in Wemeldinge, part of Stichting Kibeo. The location provides care for 16 children aged 2 to 4 years in one core group. Almost all examined quality requirements were met, including pedagogical climate, staff and groups, safety and health, accommodation, and large parts of parental rights. One violation was identified: the provider did send the 2025 annual complaints report to the GGD on time, but failed to share it with parents simultaneously in an appropriate manner. This should have occurred before 1 June 2026, but only took place on 13 July 2026 via a newsletter. The provider stated in its response that it had immediately evaluated and remedied this. The GGD advises the municipality of Kapelle to enforce in accordance with the enforcement policy.
