About this care
KCC Windekind is a small-scale daycare centre located at Prins Hendriklaan 56 in the heart of Bergen, North Holland. We provide care for up to 16 children aged 0 to 4 years. Officially registered in the National Childcare Register since 28 December 2017 under number 211218352, we meet all national quality standards.
Our location is part of K.O.V. Alles Kits B.V., a dedicated childcare organisation based in Hoorn that values small-scale, personal care. At KCC Windekind, everything revolves around calm, structure and attention. The groups are horizontally arranged, so babies, toddlers and preschoolers are placed in age groups and each child receives care suited to their stage of development.
We work with consistent pedagogical staff who really get to know the children. Thanks to the limited group size we can respond to individual needs and closely follow parents’ parenting preferences. We also offer half-day care, allowing parents to align childcare flexibly with their own schedule.

Summary
Daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) KCC Windekind in Bergen (NH), part of Alles Kits, was inspected on 12 May 2026. This follow-up investigation followed violations identified during the annual inspection in March 2026 regarding 'Pedagogical policy' and 'Deployment of pedagogical policy staff'. The municipality issued a formal notice. This follow-up investigation found that the provider has remedied the shortcomings. The pedagogical policy plan has been revised with concrete descriptions focused on toddler care, the work plan has been discussed with the team, and the coaching overview has been corrected to 250 hours for 5 locations.
