The Municipal Health Service (GGD) conducted an unannounced post-registration inspection at daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) Ivoorhorst in Den Haag on 12 January 2026. The location, which was registered in the National Childcare Register (Landelijk Register Kinderopvang/LRK) on 1 September 2025, was found to still not be in operation. Despite two inspection visits (27 October 2025 and 12 January 2026), no children were being cared for. The operator, gro-up Kinderopvang B.V., failed to inform the municipality about this in a timely manner, which constitutes a violation of the Childcare Act. The inspector advises removing the location from the LRK.
